As a consultant enologist, Teo works with 10 wineries in Puglia. This morning we visited Masseria Amastuola, a winery close to Taranto, on the Ionian side of the heel. The video gives you a high level look at the operations at the winery during this initial phase of fermentation. In addition to Primitivo and Negroamaro, this winery also produces wines with non-native grapes like Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
