The owner of this vineyard, Francesco Piccinni, is a huge fan of French wine. He is pioneering an effort in Puglia to grow French grapes. He is currently working with Teo to create a blend of Negroamaro, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. His vines are fairly young. He is harvesting his first crop of Negroamaro grapes just this year.
