Hand Harvesting of Olives and Family Sunday Lunch at Teo’s Country House in Oria, Puglia, Italy
Day 58: October 29, 2023
It was time to harvest the olives at the family property in Oria. Like the grape harvest, everything was done by hand, and by family members. I had the opportunity to participate in the activities. Following the first day of harvest, it was time to gather around the table for the traditional Sunday family lunch, where everything was home cooked by Teo’s mom and Valentina’s mom. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was festive, yet relaxing. The videos below say it all.
