I drove up to Molise from Puglia for the weekend to meet up with Michele’s relatives that own this winery in Toro, a small town outside of Campobasso (the biggest city in Molise). They follow a sustainable philosophy in their winemaking process that starts in the vineyard and extends to the production facility. Solar panels above the winery provide all the energy needed for wine production. Please checkout the video below where Concetta talked to me about the history of the winery, their production facility, the drive to be a sustainable winery, and their wines.
